Earlier this morning I woke up and took some screenshots of the products included in the Cyber Monday sale.

CTMH Black Friday 2018 - 14 Hours Remain

Good morning! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Maybe you would like to sit back and relax on this day after the big feast and do some shopping at the CTMH Black Friday sale?

Around 3:30 this morning I was awoken by some commotion overnight. In these frigid temperatures (-4 degrees) there was a cat wandering around on my deck which drew the attention of the three furry ones inside. Since I was up, I looked at the Flash Sale on my tablet (but didn't stay up to order) and took some screenshots of what was available then; I was dismayed to see an item I would have ordered has already sold out! Wow, some shoppers are early birds (or night owls). Oh well, they say you snooze you lose, but I needed my sleep. [insert big grin]

A little more about our overnight visitor; I noticed the cat on Sunday and Monday nights (my cats woke me up then too). On Tuesday when we learned the temps were going to go so low on Thanksgiving, we put out an electric bowl (made primarily for dogs and small farm animals) that keeps the water from freezing and a box we built years ago. The box is insulated top, bottom and sides and has a dog bed that warms when it senses pressure. I saw the cat drink, but it didn't go inside the house. It eventually made its way down the road, I am assuming to visit other houses or perhaps go home. Please keep the cat in your thoughts and, if it does not have a forever home, help me will it to use the house we provided to stay warm.

Holiday Expressions 2018 & Christmas Blessings

The CTMH Holiday Expressions 2018 Idea Book is valid for less than six additional weeks. Where have the past few weeks gone?

Unfortunately some items in Holiday Expressions 2018 have become unavailable:

Since the Silver Glitter Paper is temporary unavailable until the end of the year, the Christmas Blessings Workshop Kit (CC12182) has a substitution.

Rather than two silver glitter paper sheets, the Workshop Kit will come with two silver foil paper sheets (Z3366) in place of the silver glitter paper.

I anticipate that the Corporate Office will be releasing a Holiday Expressions 2018 retiring list in early December. Keep checking back to learn if any of your favorite items are being retired.

Finally, there haven some Black Friday and Cyber Monday CTMH specials the past couple of years, but we typically do not learn of them very far in advance. Please check back on Thursday or Friday; as soon as I hear any news, I will post as soon as I am able. Until then, please have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Merry Christmas Blessings Blog Hop

For this hop my first thought was black and gold, but then something made me think non-traditional.

I stamped the background using Raspberry on the ombré paper from Oh What Fun Paper Packet. I used my stamp platform so I could double-stamp to make sure the Raspberry was dark enough on the Raspberry paper. I love the Merry Trimming stamp. I did not want to cover too much of it, so I stamped on Vellum. I love that the sparkle from the Silver Tinsel Embossing Powder shows in the photo even if it looks dark.

This close-up shows how I placed the Silver Embellishing Thread and Silver Glitter Gem (thanks for the sharing the idea on an earlier hop Krista). It also shows the Silver Tinsel more true to color.
