The Cyber Monday sale begins at 5pm EST today. It will run for 33 hours, ending at 1:59am EST Wednesday, December 2 (that's 11:59pm MST Tuesday, December 1).

The sale will feature a mix of current and retired products and some discounts are up to 50%. Quantities are limited, so be sure to shop early. You will find the sale items on my e-commerce site on Cyber Monday - just look for the sale banner.

Sale products count toward earning VIP Bank Credit and Stamp of the Month qualifying orders. If you also subscribe to the Corporate newsletter, you will receive reminders when the sales begin.

I don't know why, as I had many, many ideas, but I struggled to get something created for this hop. I hope I was able to put something together that you find pleasing.

I cut Black cardstock using the Geometric Grids and backed it with the lighter side of Green Apple cardstock. I colored the flowers and Clear Sparkles with TriBlend™ Markers. I added some Clear Shimmer Brush to the wings, stripes and head of the Bee.

Floral Sympathy Card

Hello. It seems like forever since I've shared anything. There are some months that always seem extra busy to me and November is one of those months. This year I committed to being a Poll Worker so I added a bit to my plate recently with training in late October and working on Election Day.

Today I am sharing a sympathy card I created early last week, but it feels like months ago.

Sympathy Card using A Million Little Things

I created this card for one of my mom's former co-workers and her husband. Their son-in-law recently lost his battle with cancer.

I selected the softer tones of the Light Yellow TriBlend™ Marker for the flowers because I think the color is soothing. I used Blue Belle because I've always loved yellow and blue together. I framed everything with Black to make it pop. I hope the card brings the family some comfort.

You Warm My Heart Stamp Set

I think this is such a cute stamp set. Many of the sneak peeks I've seen created by other CTMH Makers have featured the "disposable" coffee cup, so I decided to go in another direction. I created this wreath using the small floral stamp in the upper middle of the above image.

To create the wreath shape, I cut a 2¾" circle from scrap cardstock, then I lightly traced around it onto the center of a 3¼" square with pencil. Then I stamped the floral stamp around the circle using the points of the leaves and petals to guide me. I also stamped some extra onto French Vanilla scraps to fussy cut and fill-in and add dimension to the wreath. I colored the petals with the Coral TriBlend™ Marker and the leaves with the Alpine Green TriBlend™ Marker. After coloring the extra stamped images, I fussy cut and layered them using Thin 3-D Foam Tape. It is hard to see in the photo, but I added Glisten Stickles™ Glitter Glue to the center of each flower.

 

To decorate the wreath I used images from the two new Cardmaking Stamp + Thin Cuts in the November–December 2020 Catalog. The bow is from the Serenity—Cardmaking Stamp + Thin Cuts and the banner is from the Jingle Joy—Cardmaking Stamp + Thin Cuts. I stamped with VersaMark™ Ink Pad and heat embossed with Silver Super Fine Embossing Powder.

I used stamps from You Warm My Heart and my stamp platform to create "borders" near the bottom of the Peach cardstock. I had some extra fussy cut flowers, so I gave the lower left corner a little pop with them.

November 2020 CTMH News

Welcome to November 2020. It is hard to see more and more television and print advertisements for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, but it will be fabulous to have an end to the political ads. I am looking forward to seeing any other kind of advertisement on my televisions screen.

I also look forward to creating holiday-themed crafts using the new and pretty Close To My Heart products.

Due to the excellent response to the National Stamping Month promotion Creativity in Motion, Close To My Heart released Seasons in Motion. Seasons in Motion is a mix of everyday and holiday-themed stamps. In addition to harvest and Christmas/winter, there is an owl and heart. The paper stack includes 48 sheets of papers to coordinate beautifully with the stamps. CTMH also created Thin Cuts to make your own Animation Windows; Animation Sheets are still available.
