June 2012 - Cruisin’ Kit: Getting the Polaroid Look

There was no Studio J® Love Your Layout: July 2012 video. I am guessing that is because the new Idea Book was released in July 2012 and it was around the time of the CTMH Convention. Therefore we are going to jump back to June 2012 and use the Crusin' kit and learn how to get the look of Polaroid photos on our layout.

The Crusin' collection was released in the Spring/Summer 2012 Idea Book. Unfortunately the Cruisin' collection can no longer be purchased in physical format, but thankfully is it still available in Studio J®.

The basics of putting your layout together:

Now let's get started creating a layout.

I really like all of the special touches that were added to this layout. Who would have through you could create the look of Polaroid photos and banners with simple boxes. I think the staples were a great touch too.
