Cardmaking WYW Blog Hop

Welcome to the CTMH Cardmaking Workshops Your Way (WYW) Blog Hop. For this hop there are about 15 bloggers sharing projects they created with stamps from one of the Cardmaking WYW Kits. Our projects are different than the cards you will find in the WYW guides. We try to keep our blog hop easy by making it a circle. Keep clicking on the link to the next blog (typically near the bottom of the post) to visit the next blog. You will then work your way back to where you started.

You should have arrived here from ***Jen Rubio's Stamp with Jen***. If you get lost along the way, Melinda Everitt keeps a list of participants on her blog at If You Bling It.

Close To My Heart has two Cardmaking WYW choices still available from Seasonal Expressions 1: Hello Baby Cardmaking Kit (G1123) and Here for You Cardmaking Kit (G1124). Unfortunately the Mother's Day Cardmaking Kit (G1122) and Happy Congratulations Cardmaking Kit (G1125) recently became unavailable, but the stamps from those kits still have the potential to create some fabulous artwork.

For this hop I created two cards. My first card is a little larger than I normally create (5" x 7") and took a bit more time as it is all stamping. I took breaks between some of the stamped clusters because I was not sure I was happy how it was coming together. I used masking and the rock and roll techniques on the card. I also fussy cut the flowers. I did not have a large enough piece of Adventure Fundamentals to cover the card base so I looked for a creative way to use two scraps. I am really happy with how it turned out and it was very easy to do. If you would like me to write a tutorial, let me know in the comments.

My second card is very simple. I used the hello phrase from the Hello Baby Cardmaking WYW and masked the "Friendship grows with Love" sentiment from Good Thymes! I stamped with Sorbet and New England Ivy.

Before you head to ***Gina's Little Corner of StampinHeaven by Gina Brandstetter***, the supplies I used to create my project are listed below.

All supplies are from Close To My Heart except where noted:
If you are not already working with a CTMH Independent Consultant, you may purchase all of the supplies I used at my Consultant website.

It would be wonderful if you have a moment to leave a comment telling me know what you think of my card before you head to ***Gina's Little Corner of StampinHeaven by Gina Brandstetter***

I hope you are finding many different ideas for using the stamps from the Cardmaking WYW Kits available from Close To My Heart. Thanks for hopping with us!
