Feel So Blessed CTMH SOTM Blog Hop

Welcome to the September 2017 SOTM Blog Hop featuring the stamp set Feel So Blessed. This month there are about 25 bloggers sharing projects they created with the CTMH Stamp Of The Month. If blog hopping is new to you, we try to keep it easy: just keep clicking on the link to the next blog (typically near the bottom of the post) to visit the next stop. Our blog hop is circular so visiting the next blog will take you back to where you started.

You should have arrived here from ***Melinda Everitt's If You Bling It***. If you get lost along the way, Melinda also keeps a list of participants on her blog at If You Bling It.

It was a little hard to get inspired to create something with this stamp set. As some of you know, my father died in February. Then I thought of those impacted by Hurricane Harvey and the bad weather that storm continues to bring. If you are in the path of this storm I hope you, your family and friends are safe.

To create my card I used gold embossing powder on the sentiment and clear embossing powder on the feathers. I selected a fall color palette to watercolor with. When my paints were dry, I auditioned my card in front of the Enchantment Fundamentals Paper Packet until I found a color and print I liked. This is the paper that has a diagonal across it so it almost looks like I used regular cardstock.

Before you head to ***Sheila's Stamping Stuff by Sheila Bennett***, the supplies I used to create my project are listed below.

All supplies are from Close To My Heart except where noted:
If you are not already working with a CTMH Independent Consultant, you may purchase all of the supplies I used at my Consultant website.

If you have a moment before you head to the next blog it would be wonderful if you left me a comment letting me know what you think my card. Thanks for hopping with us! So you do not have to scroll back up, the next stop on the hop is ***Sheila's Stamping Stuff by Sheila Bennett***.

  4. I know sometimes it's hard to create when you are grieving a loss, but your watercoloring is so creative. I know I cried this week over Houston, wondering about friends and family. May God bless and strengthen you and may creating give you healing.

  6. Gorgeous watercoloring! No matter what we face, we can always find something for which to be grateful, and your card is a beautiful reminder.

  7. My daughter is in Houston. We are thankful that she is safe, grateful that she appreciates how fortunate she is to come out of this a better person. My heart goes out to the people of the Carribean, my friends in the Bahamas, and Florida. I hope the hurricane season is shortlisted and Irma loses power as it makes landfall.
By the way love your card.
