For the Love of Crafting Blog Hop

Welcome to the August 2018 SOTM Blog Hop featuring the stamp set For the Love of Crafting. This month there are almost 30 Consultants sharing projects they created with the CTMH Stamp Of The Month. We try to keep our blog hop easy: just keep clicking on the link to the next blog (typically near the bottom of the post) to visit the next post. Our blog hop is circular so visiting the next blog will take you back to where you started.

You should have arrived here from ***Stampin' Maui by Jean McNulty***. If you get lost along the way, Melinda Everitt keeps a list of participants on her blog at If You Bling It.

Before I get too far, the stamp "Craft Today, Do Housework Tomorrow" coordinates with a cut from the You Are Here Cricut collection.

Enjoy the Little Things – #M27622DA – page 21 – height 1½" – Title + <a>

I was going to do something else, but I ran out of time. My crafty mojo hasn't been very helpful lately so I got a late start creating for today's hop. I hope to finish that project soon and will share it as soon as I can.

I found a heart in the Artiste bundle (unfortunately it is retired) and played with the sizing until the stamped image looked good on it. I was going to background stamp on the Bashful cardstock, but time was not cooperating with me, so I used the Simple Chevron Embossing Folder

Before you head to ***Haley Dyer's The Inky Scrapper***, the supplies I used to create my project are listed below.

All supplies are from Close To My Heart except where noted:
Close To My Heart Cricut images used:
  • Heart – #M3D76C – page 51 ― Shift+Accent 2 <A> ― Artiste
My Design Space file is here. I don't list the sizes above because I think it is subjective; you might like a little more or a little less white space around your stamped image.

If you are not already working with a CTMH Independent Consultant, you may purchase all of the supplies I used at my Consultant website.

I love to hear what folks think about the items I create. If you have a little time, please leave a comment letting me know what you think of this idea. I hope you are enjoying the projects created with For the Love of Crafting — the August Stamp of the Month. Thank you for hopping with us!

So you do not have to scroll back up, the next stop on the hop is ***Haley Dyer's The Inky Scrapper***.

  1. I think the chevron embossing created a perfect frame for the bottom of the heart shape. Gorgeous!

  4. Great card. Sometimes time is not on our side, and an improvise turns into a fabulous card design. Nailed it.
