You should have arrived here from ***Miss. Carrie's Creations by Carrie Simonds***. If you get lost along the way, Melinda Everitt keeps a list of participants on her blog at If You Bling It.
I did most of my stamping one evening, but had to stop for the night. When I went back to work on my card, I almost left if uncolored. I think the card without additional color has a certain peacefulness to it.
Birthday Card using To My Bestie - uncolored |
Since my card is to celebrate a birthday, I continued with my original plan to use the Watercolor Pencils to add color.

I carried the oval shape and bunch of flowers inside the card for the sentiment.

So pretty! I love how you added the sentiment in the inside!
ReplyDeleteYou are right, the non-colored card looks very nice too. Thanks for letting us see the difference.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the variation, without color, looks great! Nice cards!
ReplyDeleteI agree Brenda!! I really like the uncolored, but then when I scrolled a little farther, I liked your colored version too! :) Also--- love the inside of your card! :)
ReplyDeleteLove that you showed a before and after, great idea.
ReplyDeleteBoth versions are pretty, but the colored one is spectacular.
ReplyDeleteI really like the simplicity of the first before the color but they are both great!!
