November/December New Product Blog Hop Blog Badge |
Oh, I hope you like the hybrid cards I created. I have been fighting the sniffles, congestion and a sore throat so I slept through most of my usual creative time. As a result I was looking for a fairly quick and easy project to create. I decided that creating something mostly on my Cricut® Maker would be the easiest for me so I purchased the latest Digital Arts for decorating albums (shown on page 42 of the Nov/Dec catalog) and had a play.

card created with Christmas Memories Digital Art for Nov/Dec New Product Blog Hop |
As you can see, the Digital Art creates fun and quick cards, but I could not stop there. I had to pull out some stamps, Stickles™ and journaling pens to dress up the cards a bit more. I used Stickles™ to highlight the berries on the wreaths and the corners of the Ornaments cards. I was inspired to doodle after seeing some great examples during the SOTM Blog Hop.
Before you head to where ***Brandi Robinson's crzy4scrapbooking***, the supplies I used to create my project are listed below.
All supplies are from Close To My Heart except where noted:
- My Acrylix™ Stamp Sets: Holiday Trimmings (C1810), A Dash of Joy (CC9191)
- Paper: Holly Jolly Paper Packet + Sticker Sheet (X7250S) or Holly Jolly Paper Packet (X7250B)
- Cardstock: White Daisy (1385)
- Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pads: Pewter (Z2832), Julep (Z6511), Evergreen (Z6512)
- White Cards & Envelopes Value Pack (X254)
- Embellishments & Tools: Christmas Red Stickles™ Glitter Gel (Z3555), Silver Stickles™ Glitter Gel (Z3562), Black Diamond Stickles™ Glitter Gel (Z3561), Black Journaling Pen .03 (Z3516), Black Journaling Pen .05 (Z3517)
- Cricut® Maker™ (available at least the first level of Hostess Rewards; see Party with Us! or page 4 of Core Products) Idea Book & Catalog
- Digital Art: Ornaments Digital Art (Z3605), Christmas Memories Digital Art (Z3604)
- Cricut® Collection: Flower Market - if you do not have a Consultant, please shop via my Cricut® Affiliate Link, otherwise ask your Consultant for their affiliate link - font used for my cards: Flower Market 1
- Supplies not from Close To My Heart: Tim Holtz Stamp Platform
Since the Christmas Memories and Ornaments Digital Art come as SVGs, I am unable to share the Design Space file I used to print then cut, however I can share the Design Space file with the card base and layers (created from Basic Shapes) so you can get the shape sizes. FYI, I only used Design Space and the Cricut® Maker™ to print and cut the top layer; the Holly Jolly papers were cut on my paper trimmer (to conserve paper).
I love to hear what people think about my creations. If you have a moment, please leave a comment letting me know what you think of my cards. I hope you are enjoying the projects created with the new products from CTMH. Thank you for hopping with us!
