Welcome to the December 2019 SOTM Blog Hop featuring the stamp set Reindeer Crossing. This month there are more than 15 Consultants sharing projects created with the CTMH Stamp Of The Month Reindeer Crossing. Our blog hop is a circle; visiting the next blog (typically via a link near the bottom of their post) will take you back to where you started.

I am so in love with this stamp set. I prefer traditional images for Christmas and this stamp set fits the bill. I have so many ideas for this stamp set. Here is one of my ideas:

card created for the Reindeer Crossing (December 2019) SOTM Blog Hop
I stamped the sleigh with Intense Black on the lighter side of Sangria cardstock. I wanted the features to stand out and the card to have some shimmer, but I did not want it to cross over to outlandish, so I used the Embossing Ink Pens and different embossing powders to highlight features on the sleigh. I used the Broad tip Embossing Ink Pen to color in the seat of the sleigh and Clear Embossing Powder to make the seat look like velvet or leather.

The deer were stamped with Espresso Ink on the lighter side of Espresso cardstock. The pine boughs were stamped with Intense Black on Watercolor Paper then watercolored. Everything was fussy cut using a craft knife and glass cutting mat.

After cutting the Watercolor Paper for the background with the Stitched Rectangle Frames Thin Cuts, I used the Watercolor Paints to color. When it was dry I stamped the sentiment with Intense Black then I used the Clear Shimmer Brush to give the entire background some shimmer.

I used a mix of Tape Runner and Thin 3D Foam Tape to attach the fussy cut elements to create dimension.

I stamped the ping bough with second generation Evergreen ink and the sentiment with Sangria.
