CTMH For My Beautiful Friend SOTM Blog Hop - July 2020

Welcome to the July 2020 SOTM Blog Hop featuring the stamp set For My Beautiful Friend. This month there are about 18 Consultants sharing projects created with the CTMH Stamp Of The Month For My Beautiful Friend. Our blog hop is a circle; visiting the next blog (typically via a link near the bottom of the post) will take you back to where you started.

As soon as I saw this stamp set I knew I wanted to highlight some of the flowers in this terrific bouquet. I also knew that would mean a fair amount of fussy cutting so I knew I had to get an early start. I hope you like my results.

My many smaller scraps of White Daisy Cardstock were handy while creating the bouquet as I would focus getting one or two flowers on a scrap. I stamped with Intense Black and then colored with the TriBlend™ Markers. I then fussy cut with craft knife on a glass cutting board.

I cut a rectangle to be a mask then stamped the outer border with the floral stamps from the set using Mink ink – I saw this idea shared by some other CTMH consultants.

I needed a vase for my bouquet, so I searched the Flower Market image set. I cut my vase at 2.25".  I used a dry Watercolor Pencil to shade the vase.

To create dimension the bouquet and the fussy cut flowers were added with Thin 3-D Foam Tape. I love the decoupage that was easy to create with this stamp set.

Before you head to ***Lauren Moore's CTMH Craftings***, the supplies I used to create my project are listed below.

All supplies are from Close To My Heart except where noted:
If you are not already working with a CTMH Independent Consultant, you may purchase all of the supplies I used at my Consultant website.

If you have a little time, please leave a comment letting me know what you think of the decoupage on my card. I hope you are enjoying the projects created with For My Beautiful Friend — the July Stamp of the Month. Thank you for hopping with us!
