CTMH SOTM September 2022 - Enjoy These Moments

I did not think I would get a chance to share something created with the September 2022 Stamp Of The Month. I received my package, promptly put the stamps that arrived in a bag and headed out to a few appointments (I wanted to be able to fawn over my new supplies while sitting in the waiting room). Then, I could not find my stamp set. I was so sad I was afraid I lost it somewhere. Fortunately I found it under a chair in the living room. It must have slid under there when I emptied my bag to look at my purchases again.

I hope you like the card I created. It has been sitting in my mind's eye for a couple of weeks.

I started by cutting a piece of White Daisy 3¾" × 5¼". I randomly inked it with several colors of Distress Oxide™ Inks. I spritzed with water then used a flat paper towel to absorb the droplets. I let the piece dry overnight.

I cut another piece of White Daisy 1¾" × 2¼" and stamped the sentiment with Intense Black ink. I layered the sentiment piece onto a 2" × 2½" piece of Pine cardstock.

To create the fussy cut embellishing leaves, I gutted the card front about ⅛" smaller than the Pine piece behind where I planned to attach the sentiment. After cutting the window, I used Intense Black to stamp the heart shaped stamp randomly on the card front and the to stamp five leaves on the piece I gutted from the front. I attached the random stamped card front to Pine cardstock before adding to the card front. After fussy cutting the leaves, I used Thin 3-D Foam Tape to attach the sentiment and the leaves.
