For this hop I created a card to send to someone across the miles. To supplement the stamps from In This Together, I used the Every Bit of Wonderful stamp set where $7 USD are donated to Operation Smile™ to provide surgeries to repair cleft lips and palates in children around the world.

I stamped and fussy cut images from both sets. After determining how I wanted to place the images, I stamps some foliage stamps behind them.

I had planned to use the Floral paper from In This Together with the stamped and fussy cut images, but when I layered everything together, I thought the card had too much happening. I tested a few other papers with the stamped and fussy cut images, but nothing seemed right, so I cut a piece of White Daisy and splattered it with Grape Shimmer Brush.

Once the Shimmer splatter was dry and I determined where I would place the stamped and fussy cut images, I stamped some extra leaves on the White Daisy with Clover ink. I adhered the elements with a mix of adhesives to create dimension. The final touch was to add Diamond Stickles™ to the flower centers and Glisten Stickles™ to the small round flowers part of the large floral spray.

  1. I love this card, it is beautiful. I think it was the right call to use the white daisy instead of the pattern paper. Don't you just love it when a card comes together?
