Another Say It with Flowers Thank You Card

Before February is over (thank goodness it is leap year), here is another card created with the February 2024 Stamp Of The Month.

In addition to Say It with Flowers—February Stamp of the Month + Thin Cuts (Z7116), I used the doily from the Sweet Memories Cardmaking Workshop Kit (G1298) and the arrow-like shape from Looking Forward—January Stamp of the Month + Thin Cuts (Z7115). I do not remember with certainty which stamp set the sentiment was in, but I think it was from one of the Craft with Heart™ Cardmaking Subscription stamp sets. I colored with the Colored Pencils Bundle.

Thank You Card using the February 2024 SOTM

Below is a Thank You card I created with the February Stamp of the Month Say It with Flowers.

The sentiment is from the November 2023 SOTM. I stamped the sentiment in the middle of the White Daisy panel first. I used the die cuts to help me decide where to stamp the individual leaves and flowers to make the bouquet larger then I layered the die cuts on top with Thin 3D Foam Tape. I layered the panel on top of Jade cardstock and added that to the card front.

I am also writing today to remind you that the February SOTM is only available until the end of February–orders need to be finalized by 1:59am EST Friday, March 1 (11:59pm MST on Thursday, February 29, 2024).

February 2024 CTMH News

Hello and Happy February! I hope 2024 has been good to you so far. We have been lucky in Central New York. We have not had to shovel too much snow yet and we have not had too many cold, cold days. My winter coat is still in the closet.

March Album Retreat

Close to My Heart March Album Retreat

If you are interested in attending the Close to My Heart March Album Retreat, there are still some March 2024 Album Retreat Bundles available. At this link you will also find still photos of each layout. Registration closes on February 7 (or when the bundles sell out) and the event is held on Facebook on March 6–8, 2024. In the sessions you will learn techniques for creating interactive pages (three video previews can be found on the Close To My Heart Facebook page). I would love to attend, but I have a conflict. Fingers crossed I do not have a conflict next time.

The January–February 2024 Catalog is where you will find two collections featuring papers (with or without stickers), embellishments, SVG files, a scrapbooking and a cardmaking stamp, and a scrapbooking and a cardmaking workshop. There is also a Mix-In paper collection designed to coordinate across both collections and a variety of stamps and Thin Cuts for paper crafting.
