With about five weeks before the end of the 2022-2023 Core Products Catalog, a retiring list is available.

If any of the retiring items interest you, and they are still available, I encourage you to place your order sooner rather than later. This has been a very interesting year with items selling faster than I have seen in the past.

The Annual Close To My Heart Convention was this past weekend and we had a wonderful time learning about the upcoming Essentials catalog which goes live on September 1, 2023. We were told today that we can share the retiring colors with the world. As a reminder, the retiring colors are available while supplies last.

Melon, the color of the year, Raspberry, Grape, Nectarine, Green Apple, Avocado, and Pewter are all taking a bow this year.

If you need re-inkers for any of the retiring colors, I encourage to you act quickly. Historically they are sell out fast once the retiring colors are announced.

Please note that most Cut Above® Card Kits make 24 cards (2 of each of 12 designs), but the Sep–Dec 2021 Cut Above® Card Kit and Jan–Apr 2022 Cut Above® Card Kit make 22 cards (2 each of 11 designs). This is still an excellent value. I crunched some numbers to show this works about to less than $2.00 per card:

Also remember that, even when the cards are created and on their way to brighten someone's day, you still have a stamping block, mini ink pad, stamp set (an $11.95 to $19.95 value depending on the kit), and the flyer for ideas when you create cards from the papers and cardstock you have on hand.

If you have ribbon, Shimmer Brushes, Shimmer Trim, Dots, Gems, etc. in your stash at home, you can always add something to your card to make it uniquely by you.
