Cherishing Her Stamp Set

I was debating how to use this stamp set. When I learned that someone my family knew my entire life (longer really) died on Thursday, I knew a sympathy card would be a great use of the bouquet. With one of my favorite stamps sets back for Stampaganza, Card Chatter—Sympathy, I was ready to create.

I wanted to make the bouquet pop, but I also did not want an ordinary plain background, so I cut rectangles from the lighter and darker side of Julep. I used a low tack tape to hold both die cuts together while I applied them to the card front. After stamping the bouquet on French Vanilla cardstock, I fussy cut it using a craft knife and glass cutting mat, then I colored it using TriBlend™ Markers.
