July–August 2020 New Product Blog Hop

Welcome to the Close to My Heart New Product Blog Hop brought to you from same the group who bring you the SOTM Blog Hop. Today we are featuring items created with products from the new CTMH Idea Book July–August 2020 catalog.

For this hop I created a card. I was inspired by the water and any thoughts that would help my mind think of cooler things during this heat wave. I am looking forward to the promise of temperatures lower than 90° and the possibility of rain. I hope Tropical Storm Fay is not impacting those on the East Coast too much.

I used White Daisy Pigment Ink and White Super Fine Embossing Powder to stamp and emboss the water bubbles. The fish was stamped with Intense Black and colored with the Watercolor Pencils, but I did not use a Water Brush. Unfortunately I was not able to capture this in a photo, but I used the Clear Shimmer Brush only on the fish's head, fins and tail. I also used the Clear Shimmer Brush on the water bubbles and where I colored the word "Chill".
