The 1st Unofficial CC Blog Hop starts Friday

I'm looking forward to the start of the blog hop. If I can make the time tonight I'll be creating another sample project.  ETA - Thanks to NWFlamingo for pointing out I was a day ahead. I guess I was looking forward to the long weekend. I have since corrected the subject. :-)

In the meantime, mark your calendars for

The Spellbinders Get the Knowledge! Blog Frenzy from July 6-14, 2011.

New to me resources for the Slice Design Cutter

I've added these blogs to list that I follow, but I really liked these particular posts:

Using hidden journaling by tilting your Slice so the side where you want your fold to be will not be cut.

Design Card Options; it was also posted on the Making Memories blog.

Using the embossing tips.

Making cards using the Dilly Dally Design Card. I need that card. I've wanted it since first seeing it, but now I need that card.

Cutting fabric with any Slice, not just the Fabrique version.

I hope you find these blog entries as useful I as do.

Blog Hop Preparation

I have, what I think, is a great idea for my Blog Hop project. I got the idea when looking at a catalog of party supplies. I picked up some craft materials today to get started. Now I just need to make the time. Wish me luck getting it done before the deadline.

Eek, I'm going to participate in a Blog Hop

Scrappy Canuck (Karen) is organizing the CC “Unofficial” Blog Hop. CC is short for Crop Chocolate. We "met" while shopping and sharing there. I'd better get my act together and post a project and welcome. I also need to figure out how to point people to the next blog in the hop. Since I'm such a newb to writing a blog am I crazy for volunteering for this? Time will tell.
