Floral Sprig Thank You Card

I just realized I did not share this card. I created the card with the Floral Sprig Embossing Folder & Stencil–a Close To My Heart designed product available from Stampin' Up!

Floral Sprig Thank You Card

I used the Floral Sprig Embossing Folder & Stencils (166349). You could use just the Floral Sprig Stencils (166347) to create a card with less depth or create something tone-on-tone with the Floral Sprig Embossing Folder (166346). In the photo the gold foil layer I used from my stash looks brown; I thought it made a nice frame. I also used the new Artichoke 12" X 12" Two-Tone Cardstock (166448), one of the colors in the Secret Garden collection. I completed this card long enough ago that unfortunately I do not remember with certainty what colors I used for the stenciling. I believe I used Acorn, Wisteria and Jade, all Close To My Heart colors. The sentiment is a CTMH stamp from my stash.

A PDF of the September–December 2024 Mini Catalog will be available in PDF format from the Digital Catalog page. The sales period for the September–December 2024 Mini Catalog is September 4, 2024 through 11:59pm MST January 6, 2025 for online orders (6:59pm MST for phone orders).

As I mentioned on September 1, each year Stampin' Up! has a Product Giveback program. This year SU! is supporting children’s literacy programs throughout our global community. The featured product this year is Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper (item 164209). For every pack of paper sold, SU! will donate $3 to a variety of children’s literacy programs in Europe, North America, and the South Pacific. Because this paper is included in the Sentimental Christmas Suite (item 164225), SU! will make the same donation $3 for each suite sold.

This digital-only scrapbooking brochure is a companion brochure to the September–December 2024 Mini Catalog. Products in the brochure coordinate with products in the mini catalog. They also coordinate with some online only products. As with other Online Exclusive releases, some items will be reordered when inventory is low, but other items are only available while supplies last. If you see an item in this brochure and it is online, it is available. If an item is in the brochure and you see a "currently unavailable" label, more inventory is expected, but if you cannot find the item online anymore, the product is discontinued.

Please note the following for the Halloween Memories Scrapbooking Workshop Kit: some of the kits may included extra pieces of cardstock or photo placeholders. Use any extra pieces you might receive on other projects. Also, some errors were spotted on the printed instructions included in the kit. When shopping for the kit, look for the updated instructions on the kit's product page.

Kits Collection

There are two new kits available this September. I think both are adorable (at least I hope the same kits are available in the USA - I took a look at the SU! page for another country). There is a kit that includes a storage box and makes 10 cards and the other kit makes some beautiful ornaments for your Christmas tree.

World Card Making Day

Registration for World Card Making Day is Now Open

Come craft and celebrate World Card Making Day with Stampin' Up!, Stampin' Up! Demonstrators and fellow Customers. The event takes place online from 2pm to 3pm Mountain (4pm to 5pm Eastern) on Saturday, October 5, 2024.

World Card Making Day Stampin' Up!

Register for this free until 2pm MDT on October 4, 2024 (that's 4pm EDT for those of us on the East Coast). Look for the black register button on this page (or scan the QR code above). This link also has all of the details about the event.

I won't repeat everything from the page, but in a nutshell you need to register to receive a link to the online event. Everyone who registers will receive a gift after the event ends, so if you will be crafting with family or friends on October 4, each of you should sign up to receive a gift. Also, if something comes up and you cannot attend live, the event will be recorded and the content will be available beginning October 8, 2024.

No purchase is necessary, but if you would like to craft along and make the same projects that are being demonstrated, there is a supply list at the link above, just scroll down to find it. There may be a few items not in your stash, but you are likely to have basic paper crafting supplies: scissors, clear blocks, adhesives and black ink.

What's New for September 2024

September 2024!? Here in New York State the first day of school is in a couple of days. It is hard to believe it will officially be autumn in a couple of weeks. Even if I did not have access to a calendar, I would know the college kids are back as the traffic has been horrible. Is it too early to be looking forward to fall break? At least we have some new crafting supplies to look forward to.

Also debuting on September 4, 2024 are several scrapbooking workshops, coordinating paper packets, two-tone cardstock in Stampin' Up! colors and stamp sets created with memory keeping in mind. There will not be a printed mini catalog for this collection, but there is a digital version that I will share on September 4. To help with visualizing what you might see on the 4th, here are the workshop names: Reindeer Memories, Snow Day, Halloween Memories, and Autumn to Remember.
