Happy Independence Day

Hello! I hope you are finding great ways to stay safe during the heat wave we have endured leading up to the Fourth of July. I have been taking things really slow to try to beat the heat and am quite a bit behind.

Since I have been quiet, I thought I would share some Independence Day cards I created not too long ago.

I learned that Creative Kindness put out a call for donations of Fourth of July cards. Creative Kindness was collecting cards to send to organizations that give cards to Veterans (they also collect cards for other occasions and organizations - I encourage you to check out their website).

I shopped my stash for supplies to create the cards. Using their suggested sentiments, I created stars and sentiment strips using Cricut Design Space and my Cricut Maker. I also cut the pilot-like wings from Daily Art Hub with my Cricut Maker. I also used dies, stencils (and dies to create a temporary stencils), embossing folders, mists/sprays and silver foil cardstock to create the cards.
