Seasonal Expressions 1 Tour

On January 1, 2018 a new Seasonal Expressions 1 Idea Book was introduced.

Seasonal Expressions 1 can be viewed at my Consultant website or you can download a printable PDF (links open in a new tab). If you would like a list of items in SE1 2018, the Product Index (in PDF format) may be helpful; I use mine for a wish list and as a way to track purchases. CTMH also produced a PDF Recipes (they will be posted soon) which lists the products used (and Cricut shapes, if applicable) to create the samples found in the book. Please look at the Icon Legend on page 1 to see which products will be available after April 30 the last day of this Idea Book.

Let's start our tour of Seasonal Expressions 1. We will start with Hostess Rewards. In addition to the Hostess Rewards you will find in Annual Inspirations '17-'18, there is new option that I think will be a hit for those who like to go to crops.

Unfortunately the CTMH Rolling Bag (HB1064) pictured on page 4 of Annual Inspirations (the middle bag under level 2) is no longer available.

There are five stamp sets that are exclusive to hostesses. I do not have images of each stamp set (you will find them on pages 4 through 6), but here are some projects created with each set.

There are four new paper packs introduced in Seasonal Expressions 1. There are Workshops Your Way® Scrapbooking and Cardmaking Kits for each paper pack. Printed instructions are again included with the kits, but you can download the WYW instructions from my Consultant website (there is the link below the "Add To Cart" button); you can read through them before placing your order to determine if you need some additional products or while waiting for delivery. In addition to the layouts, at the end of the Scrapbooking guide there are directions for using the WYW "leftovers" and a few additional supplies (see the list under the WYW in the idea book), to create a few cards, the number varies depending on the collection, using your scraps:

Bloom & Grow CTMH SOTM Blog Hop

Welcome to the January 2018 SOTM Blog Hop featuring the stamp set Bloom & Grow. This month there are approximately 20 bloggers sharing projects they created with the CTMH Stamp Of The Month. Last year during my break between Christmas and New Years I was working on wedding favors and I think that is what inspired my project. I created packets for wildflower seeds using the stamp set and a cut from the Artfully Sent cartridge.

For the seed packet on the left I cut a 3" x 4" panel from Bashful cardstock and stamped with Heather and Black Momento ink. For the one on the right I stamped directly on the envelope using Pansy and Willow. If I were making these for the wedding last December 31, I would have used Sapphire cardstock with Ranger™ Silver Super Fine Embossing Powder or Pewter cardstock with Sapphire ink and Ranger™ Clear Super Fine Embossing Powder. The ideas are almost limitless.

January 2018 CTMH News

Happy New Year! The year 2017 went by in a flash; I cannot believe I am writing about the January SOTM and specials. With the death of my father 2017 was one of the hardest years of my life so I am not sad to see it behind us. I have hope that 2018 will be a much better year. I wish for the best for you and yours in 2018.

The January 2018 Stamp of the Month is Bloom & Grow

Bloom & Grow (S1801) is an exclusive D-size set of 15 stamps that is only available for purchase during the month of January 2018. The stamp set can be yours for $5 when you place an order of $50 or more in qualifying Close To My Heart products (and you qualify for additional sets at $5 for each $50 you spend). Seasonal Expressions 1 2018

I have a couple of corrections to share if you are viewing the printed Seasonal Expressions 1 book:

• Thin Cuts—Block Numbers (Z4159) - page 68 - there are 18 dies; the exclamation, the question mark, the ampersand and the comma are in the Thin Cuts—Block Alphabet (Z3386) set, but their images were accidentally included with the numbers set; in addition, there is a small square included with the set that is not pictured
• Designer Travel Ink Case (Z6003) - page 71 - this case holds 10 stamp pads
