Oh, I hope you like the hybrid cards I created. I have been fighting the sniffles, congestion and a sore throat so I slept through most of my usual creative time. As a result I was looking for a fairly quick and easy project to create. I decided that creating something mostly on my Cricut® Maker would be the easiest for me so I purchased the latest Digital Arts for decorating albums (shown on page 42 of the Nov/Dec catalog) and had a play.

After deciding on a size for the panel the design would be printed on, I did some resizing, removed some ornaments, changed "memories" to "wishes" and flattened the image to print then cut. I wish I did not have decongestant in my system while creating; I really did not leave enough room for stamping on the landscape Ornaments card so I had to search through my stamps to find a sentiment that would fit in the available space – I hope you had the opportunity to take advantage of the Share the Seasons special during National Stamping Month because that was the best option I could find.
As you can see, the Digital Art creates fun and quick cards, but I could not stop there. I had to pull out some stamps, Stickles™ and journaling pens to dress up the cards a bit more. I used Stickles™ to highlight the berries on the wreaths and the corners of the Ornaments cards. I was inspired to doodle after seeing some great examples during the SOTM Blog Hop.

Since the Christmas Memories and Ornaments Digital Art come as SVGs, I am unable to share the Design Space file I used to print then cut, however I can share the
Design Space file with the card base and layers (created from Basic Shapes) so you can get the shape sizes. FYI, I only used Design Space and the Cricut® Maker™ to print and cut the top layer; the Holly Jolly papers were cut on my paper trimmer (to conserve paper).
