2x Rewards from SU! - Two Days Only

Hello! If you have not opted in to Stampin’ Rewards yet, I have a great reason for you to opt in this weekend...2X Rewards!

2x Rewards

Stampin' Up! is excited to celebrate National Scrapbooking Day with the crafting community around the world. For 2 days only (May 2–3) SU! is offering 2x rewards on all purchases!

It gets better. This offer applies to ALL products, not just scrapbooking items! (Some exclusions apply, see more below.)

The ordering deadline by phone is May 2, 2025, at 6:59 p.m. (MT), but when you shop online, the ordering deadline is May 3, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (MT).

To earn rewards be sure to sign in to your Stampin' Up! account and opt in to Stampin' Rewards if you have not already. If you are unsure if you opted in, even if you have not earned rewards yet, you can go here then choose the "View My Rewards" button near the middle of the page to see your earned rewards and/or confirm you are opted in.

After opting in, when you shop as usual, you will earn rewards that can be spent on future orders, and you will earn double rewards (2x rewards) for two days only, from May 2–3!

This offer applies to ALL products excluding existing Paper Pumpkin subscriptions, however any new subscription or prepaid subscription ordered during the offer will earn double rewards. All orders qualify once the rewards threshold of $20 is reached. All the ins and outs of rewards are listed here.

In addition, I wish I had seen this event sooner so I would have had the chance to share the details earlier. Stampin' Up! is having a National Scrapbooking Event on Facebook on Friday, May 2 at 3 p.m. EDT. You will find the event here.

I hope you have a fabulous crafty weekend.

Changing Leaves Sympathy Card

Sometimes it seems like the bulk of the cardmaking I do is to create sympathy cards. We had a stretch of time where we learned of a passing, we would get home from calling hours and the same day, learn of another passing. Unfortunately this happened for a month.

This is one of the cards I created during this time.

Changing Leaves Sympathy Card

The card was created with the Leaf Collection Cling Stamp Set (163610) and the Changing Leaves Hybrid Embossing Folder (sold out). I am still using up CTMH cardstock and on this card I used CTMH Pine cardstock and stamp pad. A good substitute for Pine is Stampin' Up!'s Shaded Spruce. I also used CTMH White Daisy which is now available from Stampin' Up! as White Willow (166703). I am sorry, but I do not remember which stamp set the sentiment is from. If I remember, I will update this post.

One thing I would change about this card would be to ink the embossing on the white leaves. The texture from the embossing folder would look terrific inked.

I hope a long time passes before I need another sympathy card. I also hope the cardmaking you have been doing lately has been for joyous events.

Have a great and crafty weekend.

Free Shipping from SU! - Three Days Only

Stampin' Up! has a great offer for us right on the heels of updating Stampin' Rewards: For Three Days Only they are offering Free Shipping!

From April 23 to 25, when you spend $75 or more, you will get FREE SHIPPING!

To receive free shipping, orders must be opened during the Free Shipping window, so please do not start adding items to your cart until April 23 (Mountain time); orders must be finalized by 11:59pm MDT April 25. If you are ordering by telephone, your order must be placed by 6:59 pm Mountain on April 25, 2025 (be certain you opted into Stampin' Rewards before placing your order).

Free shipping automatically applies to your cart after the qualifying amount for $75 (before tax) has been met. The additional cost for expedited shipping is not covered by this promotion.

Prepaid 3-, 6-, or 12-month Paper Pumpkin subscriptions and month-to-month subscriptions do not qualify for free shipping, but Paper Pumpkin subscribers can purchase refills, past kits and add-ons that do qualify toward free shipping.

While browsing the Stampin' Up! website, I encourage you to check out the Last Chance Products. I believe I've mentioned this before, but once products appear in Last Chance, they are available while supplies last. I saw a few deals that made me wish I had more storage space and a checkbook balance that auto replenished more often than my employer makes deposits. [insert grin]

Happy Crafting!

New Stampin’ Rewards Program

In case you missed the orange banner on the Stampin' Up! website, Stampin' Up! updated the rewards program.

Sara Douglass, CEO of Stampin' Up!, reviews the New Stampin' Rewards Program in a video you can view on this page.

Host Codes are no longer needed. Also, for every online order you place that is $20 (after discounts, coupons and used rewards and before shipping and tax), you'll earn 10% of your order in Stampin' Rewards! that you can save for a future purchase. Please keep in mind that earned Rewards will expire twelve months after your purchase date at the end of that month. Once you start earning rewards, there is a Rewards dashboard that will display your balance, expiring dates and history.

Before you can start to earn rewards, you will need to sign into your account on the Stampin' Up! website and opt in. The FAQ and Get Started button are on this page of the Stampin' Up! website.

If you have any questions that are not answered in the video or the FAQ, please let me know (there is a contact form to the right) and I will do my best to get you a quick answer.

P.S. Stay tuned for news about Free Shipping later this week.

Stampin' Up! Website Maintenance on April 15, 2025

The Stampin’ Up! website will be unavailable starting from April 15 at 8:00 am MT (that's 10am for us on the East Coast) for approximately six hours for website maintenance.

Some of the website work is for "behind the scenes" and will mainly be seen by Demonstrators (this is known as the implementation of the Digital Platform Unification (DPU) project).

But the best news: the maintenance also is to put the structure in place for the new Stampin’ Rewards program.

Stay tuned for additional details!

What's New January 2025 and Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I hope the start of 2025 has treated you well. As usual it is busy here (and cold), but life is going well. Dottie, my cat, is feeling much better, but I am not looking forward to her fasting blood work appointment next week.

It's Time for Sale-A-Bration

Sale-A-Bration

From January 7 to February 28, 2025 it is Sale-A-Bration time at Stampin' Up! During Sale-A-Bration you can earn free items when you shop. With every $60 or $120 spent (before tax and shipping) on Stampin' Up! products, you can choose a free Sale-A-Bration item from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.

If Sale-A-Bration wasn't enough, there is a January–April 2025 Mini Catalog and January 2025 Scrapbooking Brochure. Links to the Sale-A-Bration brochure, January–April 2025 Mini Catalog and January 2025 Scrapbooking Brochure can be found here.

There is also a January 2025 Online Exclusives Flyer.

I just love the flowers in the Mixed Florals Bundle. That is definitely on my wish list.

Stampin' Up! also has two new Kits Collection products. I thought I saw photos of the new kits, but unfortunately I am not finding any images as I write this. When it becomes January 7 in the Mountain Time Zone you will find the new Kit Collection items here.

When you place an order (unless you are stocking up/ordering with a friend and your total will be $150 or more), please use January 2025 Host Code: 6423HYW7 (you will also find it in the right sidebar). That is a lot of information and to be honest I am having a difficult time keeping all of it straight. If you have questions about any of the Stampin' Up! promotions or products, please use the Contact Form to the right and I will do my best to find the information you are looking for.

Once again, Happy New Year!

Updates mid-December 2024

Hello! Can you believe we are one week away from Christmas and Hanukkah 2024?! On top of all of the holiday preparations, we have had the additional challenge of our cat, Dottie, feeling ill. We also needed a part replaced on our boiler (of course the boiler decided to act up on one of the coldest nights so far). Fortunately we have a pellet stove in the basement that helped us keep warm and the pipes from freezing. It is too bad the pellet stove is not configured to also act as our hot water heater. Fingers crossed for some quieter days ahead.

The subscription period for the January 2025 Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin’ Up! is open.

Hearts For You - January 2025 Paper Pumpkin

You may subscribe to receive this kit until January 10. The kit includes precut paper hearts, champagne foil, heart-shaped gem embellishments, and three different card base designs.

Available to Paper Pumpkin subscribers is this coordinating die set:

Free Shipping from SU! - Three Days Only

The winter celebration season is upon us! I turned on the radio the other day and thought why am I hearing Christmas music and then I noticed the date. I feel like this ride of life keeps speeding up. How is it possible that there are less than 30 days left in 2024?!

Stampin' Up! has a great offer for us this week: For Three Days Only they are offering Free Shipping!

Three Days Only - Free Shipping

You will get FREE SHIPPING from December 9–11 when you spend $75 or more.

If you need an order by Christmas, order as early as possible and/or consider expedited shipping. Thank you for understanding.
