CTMH From Me To You SOTM Blog Hop - August 2019

Welcome to the August 2019 SOTM Blog Hop featuring the stamp set From Me To You. This month there are almost 15 Consultants sharing projects they created with the CTMH Stamp Of The Month From Me To You. Our blog hop is a circle; visiting the next blog (typically via a link near the bottom of their post) will take you back to where you started.

You should have arrived here from ***Wendy Kessler's My Scrapbooking Blog***. If you get lost along the way, Melinda Everitt keeps a list of participants on her blog at If You Bling It.

When I saw this stamp set upside-down the word "Ho" jumped out at me so I had to make a Christmas card. I looked through my scraps of papers from Seasonal Expressions 2 and found something that I think is great for a traditional Christmas color.

Christmas Card created with From Me to You
I stamped "Ho Ho Ho" with Charcoal ink then I used the smooshing technique to add color to my stamped square of White Daisy. If you are not familiar with the smooshing technique, I dab my ink pad to an My Acrylix® Block then I lightly spritzed it with water (some people use My Acrylix® Spritz Cleaner (1778)). After the ink dried, I tapped my Gold Shimmer Brush above the square to splatter gold flecks on it. I layered my decorated square of White Daisy onto Gold Glitter Paper then added it to the card with 3-D Foam Tape to try to balance the height (or is it depth) of the bow.

Before you head to ***Gina Brandstetter's Gina's Little Corner of StampinHeaven***, the supplies I used to create my project are listed below.

All supplies are from Close To My Heart except where noted:
If you are not already working with a CTMH Independent Consultant, you may purchase all of the supplies I used at my Consultant website.

I love to hear what folks think about the items I create. If you have a little time, please leave a comment letting me know what you think of this idea. I hope you are enjoying the projects created with From Me To You — the August Stamp of the Month. Thank you for hopping with us!

So you do not have to scroll back up, the next stop on the hop is ***Gina Brandstetter's Gina's Little Corner of StampinHeaven***.
