Happy World Card Making Day! From what I've been able to learn, World Card Making Day (→) was created in 2006 by Paper Crafts magazine. The event was designed for magazine subscribers, but ended up going viral. Unfortunately I am unable to find a website for Paper Crafts magazine, but I was able to find some sneak peeks of their past issues at issuu (→).
It does feel odd to be writing about something celebratory when so many of our fellow USA residents are facing difficulty from the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. If you have family in the hurricane's path, I hope they were not injured and have someplace safe to go.

Continuing this month is the National Stamping Month special Card Creativity. If you did not get a chance to check out the options available, you are really missing something fabulous IMHO. There are stamps the coordinate with Thin Cuts that coordinate with Thin Cut backgrounds that coordinate with stencils. They all come together to create one-of-a kind cards for many occasions.

Items in the latest Close To My Heart catalog are available to order today. I have to admit that my wish list from this catalog includes almost every product available between the covers. It is going to be very hard for me to stay within my budget with this catalog. It does not help that I love floral and traditional Christmas. You will find the catalog here (→).
