Die-namite Blog Hop

Welcome to the Die-namite Blog Hop featuring Thin Cuts and/or Stamp + Thin Cuts Bundles. We are only a couple of Consultants shy of 20 bloggers sharing projects created with Thin Cuts or a Bundle. If blog hopping is new to you, we try to keep it easy: just keep clicking on the link to the next blog (typically near the bottom of the post) to visit the next stop. Our blog hop is circular so visiting the next blog will take you back to where you started.

You should have arrived here from ***Gina's Little Corner of StampinHeaven by Gina McDonald Brandstetter***. If you get lost along the way, Melinda Everitt keeps a list of participants on her blog at If You Bling It.

Today is my niece's birthday so I created this card. I thought the paper doll would make a great card for a woman's birthday.

I cut the dress from patterned paper and then highlighted the pattern in the paper using the Clear Shimmer Brush (unfortunately the shimmer is not showing very well in this photo). I thought the shimmer made it a bit more like a party dress. I used the March SOTM — Birthday Time for the sentiment.

I also needed a Thank You card. Since I already had several of my Stamp + Thin Cuts on my desk, I looked though them for ideas.

Some elements on this card, like the torn edge, were inspired by the layout on page 27 of the Holiday Expressions 2017. I used a waterbrush to color using the stamp pads (pinch the pad with the cover on so a little color transfers to the lid). When the bristles got very damp I used a paper towel to dry them so my stamped image would not smear.

Before you head to ***Brandi Robinson's crzy4scrapbooking***, the supplies I used to create my project are listed below.

All supplies are from Close To My Heart except where noted:
If you are not already working with a CTMH Independent Consultant, you may purchase all of the supplies I used at my Consultant website.

I you have a few moments, please leave a comment letting me know what you think of my cards. I hope you are enjoying the projects created with Thin Cuts. Thank you for hopping with us!

So you do not have to scroll back up, the next stop on the hop is ***Brandi Robinson's crzy4scrapbooking***.
