I thought I would share this birthday card I created a couple of weeks ago.

This card was inspired by project 3 from the Love Notes Card Workshop. Rather than using a square near the card center, I sized a rectangle behind the hedgehog. I used an older paper I have been hoarding Craft On (from the Seasonal Expressions 2 2019 catalog). I love black backgrounds where the colors pop.

The stamped images hidden inside behind the hedgehog are from previous (retired) Craft with Heart™ Cardmaking subscriptions. I think I've told you before that I keep the stamp sets from the subscriptions nearby at all times because I like to have a variety of sizes and fonts of the sentiments I use most when cardmaking.
I used Carolina, Clover and White Daisy cardstock in addition to the Craft On patterned paper and I colored with the Colorista by Spectrum Noir pencils.
Little Hedgehogs is the April 2024 Stamp Of The Month and it is available with or without Thin Cuts.
