Holiday Expressions - Focus on Thin Cuts

On September 1, 2018 a new Holiday Expressions 2018 Idea Book was introduced.

Holiday Expressions 2018 may be viewed at my Consultant website or you can download a printable PDF (links open in a new tab). If you would like a list of items in HE 2018, the Product Index (in PDF format) may be helpful; I use mine for a wish list and as a way to track purchases. CTMH also produced a PDF of Recipes which lists the products used (and Cricut shapes, if applicable) to create the samples found in the book.

This idea book is so thick, 160+ pages, that I am going to split the book tour into a few parts. Today I will focus on the Thin Cuts, stamps compatible or coordinating with Thin Cuts and the Thin Cuts Bundles available in Holiday Expressions 2018.

September SOTM & Boutique

With a new month comes a new featured paper, Boutique, and some additional artwork from the Close To My Heart Corporate artists.

I have to admit I was a bit surprised that the title of the CTMH post is "September Stamp of the Month & Boutique" when the SOTM, Just Treats, is not featured in this artwork, but that could be due to the stamp being fall-holiday themed and this paper having a softer feel (at least to me it does). Regardless, I am really loving the four creations CTMH shared with us this month.

Holiday Expressions - Focus on CTMH Colors

With the release of Holiday Expressions 2018, ten new colors were introduced.

The ten new colors are Bluebird, Carolina, Mint, Sage, Clover, Candy Apple, Lilac, Beach, Ballerina and Nectarine. The colors are shown on pages 128-131 of Holiday Expressions.

We also have a new Color of the Year: Sugarplum.

There are several products that are available in Sugarplum: Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad, a water-based dye ink, (Z6500), Exclusive Inks™ Pigment Pad, a pigment-based ink, (Z8006), Exclusive Inks™ Re-inker, for the dye ink pad, (Z7500), Cardstock (X5989), Glitter Paper (Z4188), Sugarplum Glitter Gems (Z4192) and Shimmer Brush—Sugarplum (Z4210).

In HE the colors are listed in the shades of the rainbow rather than a grouped in Color Palettes as in the past.

 Also in Holiday Expressions, we have a new How-To Book, Love of Color.

Love of Color (9045)

Love To Color includes artwork that shows how to create projects with a perfect balance of color combinations.

Love To Color comes as loose, 3-ring hole-punched pages that are 8⅜" × 6⅞". The punched pages are designed to fit inside Everyday Life™ albums. The albums are available in Black (Z4219) and Bashful (Z9996).

Pigment inks from CTMH have also changed. The stamp pads are now the same size as the dye-bases inks. The colors available in Pigment are: Candy Apple, Pixie, Sapphire, Clover, Espresso, Black, White Daisy and, as I mentioned earlier, the Color of the Year, Sugarplum.

September 2018 CTMH News

Welcome! I hope you are excited about September. Yes, I know, it brings us closer to winter, but I have to believe good things are in store for this month. It is another time for new beginnings with back to school and a new season upon us. I love the cooler, less humid weather that Fall brings, but I love the colors even more. It is also an exciting time at Close To My Heart. I hope you enjoy this season too.

The September 2018 Stamp of the Month is Just Treats.

Just Treats (S1809) is an exclusive D-size set of 22 stamps that is only available for purchase during the month of September 2018. The stamp set can be yours for $5 when you place an order of $50 or more in qualifying Close To My Heart products (and you qualify for additional sets at $5 for each $50 you spend). Alternatively it is available at $17.95. Recommended CTMH My Acrylix® Blocks for this stamp set are: 1" x 1" (Y1000), 1" x 3½" (Y1002), 2" x 2" (Y1003) and 3" x 3" (Y1006).

CTMH Corporate Artists created this layout and tag using the Just Treats stamp set.

September 2018 - National Stamping Month — Memories in the Making

This National Stamping Month special features two exclusive stamp sets: Memories in the Making—Days and Memories in the Making—Months. The colors, cardstock combo packs and the pigment inks that are retiring, as well as a list of products that are no longer available are featured here.

Also ending on August 31st is the Here's To You special.

CTMH Announcements

Holiday Expressions 2018

This new idea book will be valid from September 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018.

Until August 31st, Annual Inspirations 2017-2018 and Seasonal Expressions 2 are still valid and many items in those books are still available. Information about the current idea books are on my CTMH Idea Books page.

Clearance Items

There are new Clearance items available. They can be found by visiting my Consultant Website then choosing Shop followed by the Clearance menu. There is a wide range of items available at deeply discounted prices, but remember all clearance items are only available while supplies last and shipping is calculated on the full retail value of the product!

Printed Workshop Instructions

Workshops Your Way® kits include printed instructions with the kit, however workshop kits created for monthly specials like Here's To You and More Magical do not include printed instructions. A PDF of Workshop Guides for these kits can be downloaded using the link under the "Add to Cart" button or under "Product Description" on the product page. Tombow® Permanent Adhesive Refill

UPDATE Thursday, September 27, 2017:
Additional stock of the Tombow® Adhesive Refills (Z3327) has been received, so this item is once again available for order. Effective immediately, with this item back in stock, the Tombow® Adhesive (Z3326) and the Duck® Easy Stick™ Adhesive Pack (Z3033) will return to their regular retail prices.

CTMH is currently out of stock of the Tombow® Permanent Adhesive Refill (Z3327). The supplier is unable to provide more refills until mid-September. Although this shortage was caused by factors beyond the control of CTMH and the supplier, CTMH recognizes the inconvenience this causes for customers. That's why CTMH will be offering a temporary 10% discount on the Tombow® Permanent Adhesive (Z3326) and the Duck® Easy Stick™ Adhesive Pack (Z3033). This discounted price will apply to all orders for these two adhesive options until we receive additional stock of the Adhesive Refill.
