If you are looking for a fast and easy way to document your memories and create beautiful layouts, look no further. The Cut Above® Layout Kits are pre-cut, just punch the elements out of the sheet, and add adhesive to put them together. No stamping is required, but you can add stamping to dress up your layouts even more or to create titles. Are you looking to try cardmaking or scrapbooking for the first time? Or do you want to introduce someone to paper crafting? If so, the Starter Cut Above® Starter Kits, part of the current Startup Savings promotion, are a great place to start. They are 20% off, are smaller kits so they are easy to complete in a short period of time, and do not have so many pieces that they are overwhelming.

Please note both layouts shown above have stamping on them; the products used are listed in the paragraphs below.

Since the starter kits come pre-cut, just punch the elements out of the sheet, and add adhesives to put them together. I suggest either the Air Touch Adhesive (Z1510) or the Adhesive Runner (Z3372) and 3-D Foam Tape (Z1151) or Thin 3-D Foam Tape (Z2060), or both foam tapes so you can have a variety of thicknesses to raise decorative elements on the layouts or cards.

I definitely suggest a Black LePen™ (Z4575) to journal on the layouts. You want to document the events in the photos that you are scrapbooking so future generations have the details.

If you want to add some more decoration to your layouts before assembling, there are Starter Stamp Sets, Floral (B1816) and Alphabet (B1817), available. The recommended block for both stamp sets is a 2" × 3½" (Y1009) block. For layout 1 I would suggest using a Papaya Stamp Pad (Z6534) for stamping and for layout 2 I would suggest Sapphire (Z3848).

If you choose the Starter Cut Above® Card Kit, you will need some sentiments for your cards. I suggest the Starter Sentiments Stamp Set (B1815) with a Black Stamp Pad (Z2805). The recommended My Acrylix® block for the Starter Sentiments Stamp Set is also 2" × 3½" (Y1009).

After stamping you can clean your stamps with water and a Stamp Shammy (Z3579). Visit the Stamp Shammy page for an video showing how to use the Stamp Shammy.

July 2023 CTMH News

Welcome to the second half of the year 2023. I was going to say downside, but I thought that wording was too depressing. I am just stunned that we are already near the Independence Day holiday. Where did the time go? I hope your 2023 has given you many opportunities to get crafty and have wonderful celebrations with family and friends and there will be many, many more times in the second part of 2023.

July 2023 Stamp Of The Month The Bee's Knees

The Bee's Knees (S2307) is an exclusive D-Size set of 6 stamps. The Bee's Knees is available only during the month of July 2023. The stamp set can be free for CTMH VIP Customers who place a qualifying order during July 2023. CTMH introduced this updated version of Bring Back My Pack—For Always in mid-July. For Always was first introduced in the Spring/Summer 2013 Idea Book. In 2013, the featured colors were Black, Desert Sand, Honey, Lagoon, Ruby, Slate, Whisper. This time around the featured colors are Black, French Vanilla, Mink, Toffee, White Daisy; the Coordinating Cardstock (CC6238) includes French Vanilla, Black, Toffee, Rosemary, Mist, and Desert Rose.

CTMH created a sticker sheet for this special so there is a Paper Pack + Sticker Sheet (CC6236) or you can choose just the Paper Packet (CC6237). Also back is the Love Doily (B1418) and In the Background (D1540) stamp sets. Close To My Heart Corporate Office Closed Tuesday, July 4

In observance of the US Independence Day holiday, the Close To My Heart Corporate Office will be closed on Tuesday, July 4. Phone and email support will be unavailable, and no orders will be shipped from the warehouse on this day. The Office  will reopen during normal business hours on Wednesday, July 5.
