March–April 2020 New Product Blog Hop

Welcome to the Close to My Heart New Product Blog Hop. Today we are featuring items created with products from the new CTMH March–April 2020 catalog. This Blog Hop is brought to you from same the group who bring you the SOTM Blog Hop.

On this hop we have just over 20 CTMH Independent Consultants sharing their creations. If you happened upon my post, clicking the link to the next blog (often found near the bottom of the page) will take you full circle.

You should have arrived here from ***Haley Dyer***. If you get lost along the way, Melinda keeps a list of all blog hop participants on her blog at If You Bling It.

For this hop I created a Seas the Day Cardmaking Workshop card and a second card which is a hybrid of two cards (on pages 45 and 21) in the March–April 2020 catalog.

This card is one of the four cards from the  Seas the Day Cardmaking Workshop.

I drafted the card I had in mind using Cricut® Deign Space; this is the pattern I came up with. The four-patch (four White Daisy pieces) was inspired by a card on page 45 and layering into Mint cardstock was inspired by a different card pattern in the Seas the Day Cardmaking Workshop.

My completed card using the above pattern:

I did not stamp the whale and crab because I thought the shape was easy to identify and I thought it make the die cuts a little more "sophisticated". I used the Under the Sea Embossing Folder to add some dimension to the Mint cardstock and the sentiment was stamped on the striped Seas the Day paper.

Before you head to where ***Michelle Loncar***, the supplies I used to create my project are listed below.

All supplies are from Close To My Heart except where noted:
If you do not have a CTMH Independent Consultant, the supplies I used are available at my Consultant website.

If you have a moment, please let me know what you think of my cards. I hope you are enjoying the projects created with the new products from CTMH. Thank you for hopping with us!

So you do not have to scroll back up, the next stop on the hop is ***Michelle Loncar***.

  3. Great cards, and I like that you decided to not stamp the images on the 2nd card.
