Bloom & Grow CTMH SOTM Blog Hop

Welcome to the January 2018 SOTM Blog Hop featuring the stamp set Bloom & Grow. This month there are approximately 20 bloggers sharing projects they created with the CTMH Stamp Of The Month. If blog hopping is new to you, we try to keep it easy: just keep clicking on the link to the next blog (typically near the bottom of the post) to visit the next stop. Our blog hop is circular so visiting the next blog will take you back to where you started.

You should have arrived here from ***Priscilla Gotham's Priscilla's Paperie***. If you get lost along the way, Melinda Everitt keeps a list of participants on her blog at If You Bling It.

Last year during my break between Christmas and New Years I was working on wedding favors and I think that is what inspired my project. I created packets for wildflower seeds using the stamp set and a cut from the Artfully Sent cartridge.

For the seed packet on the left I cut a 3" x 4" panel from Bashful cardstock and stamped with Heather and Black Momento ink. For the one on the right I stamped directly on the envelope using Pansy and Willow. If I were making these for the wedding last December 31, I would have used Sapphire cardstock with Ranger™ Silver Super Fine Embossing Powder or Pewter cardstock with Sapphire ink and Ranger™ Clear Super Fine Embossing Powder. The ideas are almost limitless.

Before you head to ***crzy4scrapbooking by Brandi Robinson***, the supplies I used to create my project are listed below.

All supplies are from Close To My Heart except where noted:
  • My Acrylix™ Stamp Set: January 2018 SOTM: Bloom & Grow (S1801)
  • 12" X 12" Cardstock: Bashful (X5941)
  • Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pads: Pansy (Z2804); Willow (Z2809), Heather (Z2826)
  • Black Memento™ Ink Pad (Z899)

    • 4X6 Envelope 1 ― #M1068FC ― page 30 ― height 5.78" ― <Env-1>
    • my Design Space file is here; I used the green image to create the packets above, but added a second (purple) packet (cut not tested) in case you would want two decorative layers on the seed packet
  • Cricut® Explore Air™ 2 (available at Level 3 of Hostess Rewards; see page 4 of Annual Inspirations 2017-2018)
  • Supplies not from Close To My Heart: Office Depot Laser Copy Paper (this 28 pound paper cut fine on the Cricut® Explore with the dial set to "Paper" and the "Paper - Copy Paper - 20 lb" setting in Cricut® Design Space with the Cricut® Maker)
If you are not already working with a CTMH Independent Consultant, you may purchase all of the supplies I used at my Consultant website.

Before you leave I would be delighted if you left me a comment letting me know what you think of my seed packets. I hope you are finding many fun ideas for how you might use the January SOTM. Thank you for hopping with us!

So you do not have to scroll back up, the next stop on the hop is ***crzy4scrapbooking by Brandi Robinson***.
