Happy first full month of Fall. How can it be Fall?! This is one of my favorite times of year because we are finally putting the heat of summer behind us (mostly - we might have a stray warm day here or there) and we have the colors, smells and foods of fall. Now that it is cooler, we do not avoid using the oven to make dinner and sometimes we will plan to use the oven to remove the chill in the house.

Last month I said I felt like I was forgetting something and I feel the same this month. While pulling this message together I noticed when I worked on something for September I used "2020" for the year. Yikes! I had to look at the date on my computer to make sure I knew what year it was. And I was trying to skip a month and started to type November a could of times. I even started thinking Thanksgiving would be coming up in a couple of weeks. Wow! The past eighteen months have really played with my perception of time.
