Seasonal Expressions 1 - Workshops Your Way®

In case you missed the news – Close To My Heart introduced a new Idea Book – Seasonal Expressions 1.

There is a page-turner version at my Consultant Website on the Products > Idea Books page. Under the photo of the Idea Book you will find a link to download a PDF of the book and a Product Index (I like to use the index to track my purchases and create a wish list). The Recipes, which list the products used to create the samples in SE1, will be posted near the other links soon.

There are four new paper collections in Seasonal Expressions 1: Something Fierce, I Heart Us, So Much Happy, Feels Like Home and a Mix-In designed to coordinate with every other paper collection in Seasonal Expressions 1.

Each paper collection has a Workshops Your Way® Scrapbooking Kit, Workshops Your Way® Cardmaking Kit and Deluxe Scrapbooking Workshop Kit. You will always find two Deluxe Scrapbooking Workshop Kits per paper collection; each Deluxe kit creates the same artwork. The difference is whether or not stamp sets, Thin Cuts or other "tools" are included in the kit. The "tool" that is included (or not) is in the product description.

Printed instructions are included with each kit. If you would like to review the instructions prior to your purchase arriving, the Workshop Guides can be downloaded from the product page – look under the green "Add To Cart" button or under the product description.

You only need a few tools (paper trimmer, scissors, ruler, pencil, journaling pen and various adhesives) to create layouts with the Workshops Your Way® Scrapbooking Kit.

The Workshops Your Way® Cardmaking Kit and Deluxe Scrapbooking Workshop Kit usually need some additional products if you choose to complete the projects exactly as shown in the Guide; any additional items needed are listed on the same Seasonal Expressions 1 page as the Kit or below the product description on my Consultant Website. Additional products needed are also listed on the first page of the Workshop Guide.

The Something Fierce deluxe scrapbooking workshop focuses on a variety of stamping techniques, as well as adding pocket cards and Flip Flaps™ to your layouts. Use the materials in this kit, a few additional supplies and the Workshop Guide to create 3 two-page layouts and 1 single-page (shown below).
