CTMH Random Act of Cardness SOTM Blog Hop - September 2019

Welcome to the September 2019 SOTM Blog Hop featuring the stamp set Random Act of Cardness. This month there are approximately 22 Consultants sharing projects created with the CTMH Stamp Of The Month Random Act of Cardness. Our blog hop is circular; visiting the next blog (typically via a link near the bottom of their post) will take you back to where you started.

You should have arrived here from ***Create with Alyson by Alyson Mayo***. If you get lost along the way, Melinda Everitt keeps a list of participants on her blog at If You Bling It.

For our hop I wanted to create an upbeat card with some glitz so I made a hello card using some of the new Shimmer Brushes and Stickles™ Glitter Gel found in the new Idea Book. The butterflies I used are those you punch from the large multi-stripe die-cut (Project 2) found in the Every Little Thing Scrapbooking Workshop Kit (G1185). I stamped the butterflies with Strokes of an Artist to help give them some more character.

I used the Wisteria Shimmer Brush to create a body on the lighter butterflies and used the Charcoal Brush on the darker butterflies and to spatter the entire card. I like that the Stickles™ Glitter Gel allow me to create small and large embellishments.

Before you head to ***Judy Faye Garner's Judy Faye's Place***, the supplies I used to create my project are listed below.

All supplies are from Close To My Heart except where noted:

If you do not have a CTMH Independent Consultant, you may purchase all of the supplies I used at my Consultant website.

I love to hear what people think about my creations. If you have a couple of minutes, please leave a comment letting me know what you think of my card. I hope you are enjoying the projects created with Random Act of Cardness — the September Stamp of the Month. Thank you for hopping with us!

So you do not have to scroll back up, the next stop on the hop is ***Judy Faye Garner's Judy Faye's Place***.

  8. Pretty card. I like the look of the spatter with the shimmer brush on the card. That's a technique I need to try.
