Cricut® made it official: Design Space for Web will no longer be available starting January 29, 2020.

If you have not downloaded and installed Design Space for Desktop, now is the time to transition.

The "Learn More" button in the image above will take you to the Cricut® blog, specifically this post: Design Space for Web Support Ends on January 29, 2020. Be sure to visit the Cricut® blog for a link to download Design Space for Desktop, to read though some FAQs and links to additional information. The staff at Cricut® are ready to help if you have having troubles.

I have found that using Design Space for Desktop is not that much different than Design Space for Web as long as I am connected to the Internet. If you will be at a Crop or other event and do not know if you will have a good Internet connection, I suggest reading Design Space for Desktop: Offline Feature FAQ and Design Space for Desktop: Saving for Offline Use.
