Design Space for Desktop

In case you missed the announcement during the holiday rush, Cricut® made it official and in mid-January Design Space for Desktop will be the default software experience rather than the web browser version you have been seeing when going to design.cricut.com.

Typing design.cricut.com in your browser will direct you to the desktop, or, if you do not have it installed, will direct you to install it.

Rather than summarize their announcement, I will ask you to visit the Cricut Team's blog post Cricut Announces Official Move to Design Space for Desktop for all of the details.

On the Cricut Team's post you will find the Top FAQs and a video tour of Design Space for Desktop. In addition to their blog post, please see the Offline Feature FAQ that answers several additional questions.

I just checked and an exact date for the change has not been announced; since we are only days away from "mid-January" I expect an announcement will happen any day.

I am sharing this news because it is via Design Space that those of you with Cricut® Explore and Maker machines use the Close To My Heart Cricut® Collections. And I enjoy sharing my projects. The FAQ assures us that there will still be an option to copy a project link to share and that past shared links will redirect you to use Design Space for Desktop and will open that project.

To order any of the Close To My Heart Cricut® Collections, please use my Affiliate Link to visit the Cricut® Website. My Affiliate Link is also at the bottom of the Cricut® Collections page on my Consultant Website.

If you have any questions, please complete the contact form to the right and I will do my best to answer them.
