National Scrapbooking Month Blog Hop - Blue Skies

Welcome to our blog hop featuring the exclusive Blue Skies product suite created for National Scrapbooking Month. The same group of Independent Consultants who bring you the CTMH Stamp Of The Month blog hop are presenting the Blue Skies hop. We have over 15 Consultants sharing artwork created with Blue Skies.

You should have arrived here from ***Michelle Loncar's Show and Tell, with Michelle***. If you get lost along the way, Melinda Everitt also keeps a list of all participants on her blog at If You Bling It.

For our hop I created two cards. The first is the Mother's Day card I plan to give to my mother on Sunday. I love love this floral paper so I had to use a fairly large piece on her card.

I tried to keep thinks simple to let the floral and stamped sentiment shine.

To create the background clouds I sponged though the waste after die cutting the clouds. I sponged ink on the rainbow to get a softer look, "huffed" on the stamp to moisten the ink, then stamped. I create some more interest, after inking the sun with Canary, I dipped the tips of the rays in Pixie.

Before you head to ***Gina Brandstetter's Gina's Little Corner of StampinHeaven***, the supplies I used to create my project are listed below.

All supplies are from Close To My Heart except where noted:
If you are not already working with a CTMH Independent Consultant, you may purchase the CTMH items I used on my Consultant website.

If you have a few moments, please let me know what you think. I enjoy reading what people think of my artwork. Thank you for hopping with us!

So you do not have to scroll back up, the next stop on the hop is ***Gina Brandstetter's Gina's Little Corner of StampinHeaven***.
