More Celebrating You with Build-a-Plaid

To mark the end of August I created another card using Floral Celebration, the August 2020 Stamp Of The Month, and Build-a-Plaid.

On this card I featured four retiring colors: Pixie, Thistle, Eggplant and Julep (the Color Of The Year). I stamped using Build-a-Plaid in Pixie, Thistle and Eggplant on the lighter side of Pixie cardstock. I also stamped with Intense Black on Eggplant and Julep cardstock then fussy cut. With the exception of Intense Black ink, all if the items I listed so far are retiring at midnight MDT tonight.

If you look closely, I feature two new items on this card. The Stitched Simple Brackets Thin Cuts (Z3687) surrounding the sentiment and the scallop heart border is from Fancy Borders Thin Cuts (Z3682) cut from Eggplant. Both will be available for purchase September 1, 2020.

This card created awhile ago, but just given this weekend, also features some retiring items.

My card was created with the National Scrapbooking Day Cardmaking Bundle 2 (CC7214) – there are still a few available. The National Scrapbooking Day Cardmaking Bundle 2 included the Forever Grateful Stamp Set (CC7210) which was later available without the other items in the bundle. Forever Grateful was one of five stamp sets with icons and phrases to help us make projects to document the unique time we are living in. All of the Let's Stay Home stamps retire at the stroke of midnight tonight MDT. The thank you card pattern was downloaded from the card making bundle page.
