CTMH Garden Tags SOTM Blog Hop - June 2020

Welcome to the June 2020 SOTM Blog Hop featuring the stamp set Garden Tags. This month there are approximately 22 Consultants sharing projects created with the CTMH Stamp Of The Month Garden Tags. Our blog hop is a circle; visiting the next blog (typically via a link near the bottom of the post) will take you back to where you started.

You should have arrived here from ***Crafty Happy by Darlys Recker***. If you get lost along the way, Melinda Everitt also keeps a list of all participants on her blog at If You Bling It.

Garden Tags Stamp Set
This stamp set coordinates with the Tags & Tabs Thin Cuts (Z3726). The Tags & Tabs Thin Cuts were so popular that the first shipment received at the warehouse was depleted, but fortunately more stock is expected in mid-June.

I am desperately behind in creating Thank You cards, so I decided to use the tags to decorate the front of some Thank You cards. On my first card the tags were stamped with Intense Black and colored with TriBlend™ Markers.

I embossed a piece of Ballerina cardstock with the Floral Garden Embossing Folder. I framed the embossed piece with Charcoal cardstock. The sentiment was stamped with Pewter ink on Pebble cardstock. I layered a piece of Gold Glitter Paper under the hole on the tag then added Liquid Glass in the center to give the illusion of a gold glitter gem.

On this card I stamped the tags with Pewter ink and colored with the Watercolor Pencils, using them dry. Since I did not do a great job centering one of the images, I trimmed on the outline, cut tags from Thistle cardstock and then layered both.

To create the background I used second generation ink and Strokes of an Artist then splattered with Gold and Bashful Shimmer Brushes. I used second generation Pewter ink behind the sentiment and Intense Black for the sentiment. This time I layered the Gold Glitter Paper between the tag layers; I added Liquid Glass to the center, but this time the Liquid Glass was still quite wet preventing the glitter from shining through.
